NonProfit

Hello all,

So for the last few months I have been trying to research nonprofit organizations that I could become affiliated with.  I have even looked into creating my own non profit.  Since all of this research has occurred in the very little spare time that I have between work and classes, I haven't gotten very far.  I really want to be affiliated with a nonprofit somehow so that I can allow y'all to donate to me tax free...  Does anybody have any ideas for me?

I know this is kind of boring stuff for my second post, but I really could use some help!

      Hey Krista, I've got to send them a letter actually! But I don't know that they would take me in long term...

    Your church could do it if they were willing. I've known people who have been sent by their home church, all donations are processed through the church.
    This type of work makes me think of Mennonite Central Committee, have you looked into them?

      I've talked to my church but there is some fine print stuff we are running into... I'll look into the Mennonite Committee. Thanks!
